Our Supporters

A big thank you to all our corporate partners, past and present, for their support.

McDonald’s Restaurants Ltd

Since 1989, McDonald’s UK has chosen us as their Charity of Choice. McDonald’s employees, Franchisees and suppliers give vital support to our Charity by organising fundraising events and donating their personal time. McDonald’s and its Franchisees also make a generous yearly donation to the Charity from their profits.

One of the greatest gifts McDonald’s and its Franchisees have given us is the opportunity to have collection boxes in every restaurant across the UK. Our biggest source of income comes from the general public who give millions of pounds each year through these collection boxes.

Many McDonald’s Franchisees offer further support to their local Ronald McDonald House by organising fundraising events or sitting on the management boards. Just some of the ways they helped in 2011 include taking part in skydives, climbing Mount Snowdon, organising football tournaments and getting staff organising fundraising activities in the restaurants.

In 2011, McDonald’s Franchisees, staff and customers raised over £3 million to help us continue to provide free accommodation for families with seriously ill children in hospital.

Coca Cola

In 1974, Coca-Cola became the first international corporate donor of the Charity Globally. The company continues to stand out as a loyal and charitable supporter. Every Ronald McDonald House around the world receives a donated vending machine and free Coca-Cola products. Coca-Cola’s commitment extends far beyond its product donation. In the UK, we benefit from their fundraising efforts, sponsorship and donated auction prizes.
