Ronald McDonald House Oxford Returns to Rome in 2012

On 18 March 2012 we will be returning to Rome with a fresh team of runners to take part in the Rome Marathon. The 26.2 mile course starts and finishes at the Coliseum, and combines the athletic challenge of a marathon with a unique sightseeing tour of this historic city as it winds through the streets of Rome taking in all the most famous sights.
The marathon attracts around 15,000 runners each year, and the crowds of supporters that line the streets help to make the whole event a real spectacle.
Through the hard work and support of our runners we are hoping to raise £15,000 towards the annual £185,000 running costs of the House.
