The RMHC Snowdon Challenge 2009!

An ENORMOUS thank you to the 555 hardy souls who braved this year’s RMHC Challenge event, climbing Mount Snowdon in unseasonably bad weather (again!) and collectively raising over £70k for the Charity. For photos of the event, please click here.

Thanks to our Great Midlands Fun Run-ners!

On Sunday 31st May Debbie Blakemore, Dannielle Williams, James Lawrence and Louisa Lawrence braved the blistering heat to take part in the Great Midlands Fun Run. Luckily, the crowd helped them keep cool with hose pipes and water pistols! They raised over £350 for the new Ronald McDonald House at Birmingham and are already planning to enter again next year. Every Picture Tells a Story

To celebrate National Family Week and highlight the importance of families being together when their children are in hospital, RMHC has commissioned artist Prudence Stait to recreate the famous Klimt painting 'Mother and Child' using thousands of images of families who have stayed in Ronald McDonald Houses. A Big Thank You to our 2009 Marathon Runners!

Enormous thanks to Alistair Edwards, Graeme Burkhill, Julie Burkhill, Chris Spencer, David Bryce, Faye Shotton, Jason Clark, Simon Maple, Gary Townsend and Geoff Gilbert for running this year's Flora London Marathon in support of RMHC. Collectively they raised over £10,000 for the Charity - enough to furnish five family bedrooms in a Ronald McDonald House! See here for pictures of the day!
