Leave a Legacy
Make a difference to families who will need us in the future
Most of us know where we would like our money to go after our death, yet few of us have put in place the necessary arrangements to ensure that our wishes are carried out. Making a will guarantees our loved ones are cared for once we have gone, and is the opportunity to pass on valuable or sentimental items to those we care for. It is also an opportunity to enable us to continue to support a charity that we feel passionately about.
We understand that your loved ones come first. After you've taken care of the people closest to you, a small percentage (as little as 1% or more if your circumstances allow) of whatever is left of your estate could make a huge difference to families who use Ronald McDonald Houses and their children's lives.
As an independent charity, we rely on the support and generosity of our volunteers, fundraisers and donors, and thanks to their tireless efforts our Houses are able to help over 7,000 families each year. A gift in your will could continue supporting thousands more families who need us now, as well as the children and families who will need us in the future.
“The House team were so supportive in what I can only describe as a nightmare. Deputy House Manager Sally helped me so much with everything and I made friends with other mums and dads in the House. I don’t know what I would have done without them.”

How to leave a gift in your will
Your gift can make a difference
No matter how large or small, every gift in a will that we receive really does make a difference to the hundreds of families that we support every day. Making a will is easy and relatively inexpensive. We recommend using a solicitor, to ensure that your will is legal, preventing any future problems. For more information on making your will and leaving a gift to Ronald McDonald House Charities, please request an information leaflet by completing the enquiry form below.
