The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Newcastle opened in July 2003 and has three ensuite bedrooms, a kitchen and lounge and serve the families of children receiving treatment at St Oswald’s children’s hospice in Newcastle.
The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Leeds recently opened in January 2006 and has two ensuite bedrooms. The Family Rooms serve the families of children receiving in-patient treatment at Leeds General Infirmary.
The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Salford opened in January 2005 and has seven family bedrooms, kitchen lounge and serve the families of children receiving treatment at Hope Hospital.
The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Sheffield was the first Family Room accommodation to open in the UK. The Family Rooms serve the families with children receiving in-patient care at Sheffield Children’s Hospital and has three ensuite bedrooms.
The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms Grimsby opened in March 2001 with two ensuite bedrooms a lounge and kitchen and serve families with children staying at St Andrew’s Hospice.
