Cardiff restaurants pull out stops to keep families close
Congratulations to intrepid fundraisers at eight McDonald’s restaurants in Cardiff, whose animal antics raised nearly £2,000 for the new Ronald McDonald House in the city. Staff across the city donned all manner of colourful animal costumes, modelled balloons and painted faces as part of the national McDonald’s day of fundraising for the Charity on 22 November.
Restaurants in Swansea and Newport also threw themselves in to the fun with enthusiasm, raising £5,500 to help families who have children in hospital.
We were very impressed with their colourful garb and irrepressible enthusiasm. In all, an impressive show of support for our first ever Ronald McDonald House opening in Cardiff next year.
