I knew from the first time I walked through the door that the Birmingham House was a special place and that hasn’t changed.
I love that the House is a place of hope, fun and at times plain madness, in the last few years we have celebrated every milestone we possibly could, giving the families experiences they probably didn’t expect to have given their circumstances.
In my first year of working for the charity I met the granddad of a terminally ill little boy and he thanked me for giving their family memories and that has stayed with me and encouraged me to continue to create positive memories for as many families as I possibly can. Ronald McDonald Houses are not only built with love they are filled with it. Here is to the next 25 years.
