A Family Story
“I stayed at a Ronald McDonald House for about six weeks and it proved to be a rea port in a storm. The House offered a safe place to keep our belongings, cook and more importantly to try and get some crucial rest. I am not sure I could have coped for six weeks on a camp bed in a hospital. I was able to come and go as I pleased and the staff were very supportive, but unobtrusive. The house helped me cope with my daughter’s illness, and keep my family together. It was a comfort to know I was less than five minutes away from my daughter if she or the doctors needed me”
