Wirral Egg Run - Thursday 15th September 2011
We wish to say a very big thank you to everyone involved with the Wirral Egg Run. Since we’ve opened our doors, the Wirral Egg Run has donated a massive £15,000 to Ronald McDonald House Arrowe Park! Our House was lucky enough to have been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from the race each year.
About the hospital
Arrowe Park Hospital is designated as a level 3 neonatal care unit, making it one of the UK’s top hospitals for premature babies. The Hospital had over 9,000 paediatric admissions in 2008, and 360 newborn babies who had to use the neonatal unit.

Thanks to Katy Copplestone who ran the mighty Tuff Knutz for us! This was a 12 mile assault course and as you can see by the photos, she had to carry a huge log all the way. It is a massive achievement and Katy did incredibly well.
