About the House
The sixth Ronald McDonald House opened in November 2002. The House has 21 en-suite bedrooms, two of which have disabled access, three kitchens, a dining room, lounge and landscaped garden. A charity called Ronald McDonald House Bristol was set up to manage the day-to-day running and ongoing costs of the House. In 2011, the Bristol House looked after 391 families.

About the hospital
Bristol Royal Hospital for Children is the only dedicated children’s hospital in the South West and is the regional centre for a wide range of specialist paediatric services.
