What's the relationship between Ronald McDonald House Charities and McDonald's Corporation?

RMHC UK receives considerable support from all UK McDonald's Employees, Franchisees and customers. McDonald's franchisees and employees work very hard to support the RMHC by organising fundraising events in restaurants, selling RMHC merchandise, collecting at public places or simply donating their time at Ronald McDonald Houses. McDonald's customers support the charity by kindly donating their loose change into one of RMHC collection boxes located in all 1250 McDonald's Restaurants. All the money RMHC receives via collection boxes or fundraising events goes without deduction to support and develop more RMHC accommodation projects in the UK. RMHC is fortunate to benefit from a generous annual grant from McDonald's Restaurants Ltd to cover its administration costs. This means that every penny raised through fundraising activities is not spent on administration costs.
