Brand new for 2017, Bike Oxford is a day of marked rides of 25, 50 and 80 miles starting and finishing at Oxford University Rugby Club, Iffley Road, and taking in the best scenery of Oxford and the surrounding countryside.

Brought to you by the team behind the successful and well-regarded Bike Bath event, Bike Oxford is a day of marked rides of 25, 50 and 80 miles starting and finishing at Oxford University Rugby Club, Iffley Road, and taking in the best scenery of Oxford and the surrounding countryside. As an entrant you will benefit from:

  • A timing chip to record your time
  • Fully signposted routes with a back up route map and GPS files;
  • Feed stations showcasing the best produce from local food and drink suppliers;
  • On course medical support;
  • A high quality finisher’s medal for each distance.

 

All three routes are brand new for 2017. The event will start at Oxford University Rugby Club and the routes head out into the glorious surrounding Oxfordshire countryside and beyond before heading back to the Rugby Club where riders can relax and enjoy some post-ride food and drink.

Along the route you will find clear signage, feed stations and first aid support. There will also be medical support on the course to provide assistance if required.

Entry Fee

2017 entry fees are £35 for the two long routes and £22 for the short route for adults with children being charged £12. There will be a small online booking fee on all entries and an early bird discount.

Minimum sponsorship

We have a limited number of places available – in exchange for a place we will ask you to raise £150. If you buy your own place, there is no minimum sponsorship.

Starting time

07:30 - 10:15 Arrive at the venue and leave your bike in the secure bike park while you sign in to collect your timing chips and rider numbers. If you need to leave a bag there will be a bag drop available. 

When you’re ready to go please grab your bike and make your way to the start area where riders will be briefed and released in groups of 20 as follows:

  07:30 - 08:30 - 80 milers

  08:30 - 09:30 - 50 milers

  09:30 - 10:30 - 25 milers
